Review content:
If you're a Louisville person, this is the best cemetery in town. It's certainly not cheap. It's right in the middle of the Highlands, and it's a great place to visit. Typical cemeteries are pretty morbid, for obvious reasons, but I never feel that way at Cave Hill. It's almost like a park. My husband and I used to visit the cemetery a couple times per month when we were younger. We'd visit our families' plots and just talk near the lake in the middle of the cemetery. Management doesn't mind at all, though they have gotten on us before about lying down along the lake.\r

They said only residents can lie down. Fine by me.\r
\r
Col. Sanders is buried here, as is George Rogers Clark. \r

Also, a portion of the movie "Elizabethtown" was shot at Cave Hill. We always enter along Grinstead because it gives you better access to the pretty parts of the cemetery.
