A few years ago, I took my 69 Chevy pickup to these folks to have a complete dual exhaust installed. Ended up with several leaks and a tail pipe that rattled against the frame, so I took it back. A different guy worked on it and made a comment about the poor workmanship of the guy who did the original work -- a guy who had been there for several years. \r \r The good news is the second guy fixed the leaks and threw in a couple turn down tips for free. And the first guy had upgraded my mufflers for no additional charge, because he didn't have the lower cost mufflers in the size I wanted. Folks around Plano say this was THE place to go in the 80s and 90s, but I don't think it is anymore.\r \r Then again, I'm not sure where to go these days to get any better work done. They all use "crush" type pipe benders, which reduce exhaust flow by 30% or so. No shops that I know of use the more expensive mandrel bender, which maintains the diameter of the pipe at the bends.
