Recently I moved from an expensive, big East Coast City where we had a great vet for many years. When I needed to have work done on my dog I easily got an appt. here. The staff at the front desk were lovely. However, even though the\r clinical staff had my dogs records and could see the dog had operations in the past with pins in parts of the body, when it was time for the dog to be taken to the back room, out comes this woman who doesn't say a word to me-doesn't even look me in the eyes. Middle aged and chubby. I asked her to be careful lifting the dog because the dog had pins in the legs. She didn't say a word to me. Just bent over, put the dog's charts in her mouth and lifted the dog like a sack of flour. I was horrified. Being the spouse of a doctor, I have been allowed in the back rooms of vet offices before, and I can handle them. I asked to be allowed, but no one even paid attention to me.
