We trusted Banfield with our pets. Unfortunately this almost costed us our precious Chihuahua's life. We had both our dogs on a wellness plan at the east Vancouver location. The staff up front was friendly but we did not like the fact that every time you go in you pretty much always see a different doctor.\r The doctors insisted we spay our six month chihuahua even though we were worried because she was small under 3 pounds. They informed us if we waited past 6 months it would cost more & that they spay small dogs and cats her size all the time. After her spay the doctor very nervously informed us a piece she tried to tie off slipped inside our dog & she was unable to dig it out so she had to be cut more in order to get to it. We were assured this happens often & it wasn't a problem. 2 days later on dog was pooping blood. Things continued to go down hill from there all the while we payed for MANY more expensive test trying everything to find out what was wrong with her.\r When she got re
