Review content:
When we first came to Fredericksburg, we went to Banfield for our boosters etc. because we didn't know a vet. They are fine for that. Our old dog developed a hematoma on her anus, and we were advised by Banfield to run umpteen tests and to operate to remove it. When we asked whether it was cancerous or was hurting her, they said no, but that they just felt it was best to remove it. So, we refused to put her under the stress of surgery and, three years later, she is fine. The final straw was when I adopted two sick cats this week. I was very worried and took them to Banfield. I finally saw the doctor after waiting one and a half hours even though I had an appointment. He quoted me tests for both cats that would cost me $950.00, and that didn't include the treatment and a surgery one cat needed. I was horrified and went to another vet (Leavells Animal Hospital) who examined and TREATED both cats for $166 with love and care. So, if you want to be ripped off, go to Banfield.
