We've been here several times with multiple pets ... each time hoping that our next experience would be a good one. The office staff had been so friendly and helpful - we just couldn't believe things wouldn't work out. Our first experience was a cat we took in for an exam and shots. The vet recommended all types of vaccinations. Not knowing any better, we agreed. Later we found out we'd vaccinated against things not even in our area and that one of the vaccines could cause her to be euthanized immediately if she ever ended up in the animal shelter (because the vaccine would cause her to test positive for the disease.) The vet never told us this. Sadly, our cat ran away when we moved later on, we only hope we didn't cause her to die in a shelter and that she found a new home instead. Next we brought in a baby bird we had that was having trouble feeding because its parents were new and inexperienced, the animal hospital claimed to have an avian vet on hand.
