I realize it's typical for car places to try to get a lot of money out of you, but this guy was straight up dishonest.\r \r I went to Tuffy to get my A/C inspected. Of course, they found out that everything having to do with the A/C would need to be replaced... for a total of around $900. When I discovered that, I decided to wait on the repair. As I was ready to leave the shop though, the sales person stopped me to tell me they'd also found that 1) my transmission fluid was dirty 2) my fuel dampener needed to be replaced and 3) my cabin air filter was missing and I needed a new one. The sales guy said he'd never heard of a fuel dampener but suggested I spend the $100 on parts for it anyway, and that the cabin air filter would be about $40 plus labor. I told him I'd think about it. \r \r A lot seemed to be wrong with my car all of the sudden!
