Review content:
After calling around to several animal hospitals in the state to see who had a vet to care for a very sick guinea pig, Windcrest was the only one who said they could provide. After waiting approx. 45 min we were finally able to see the vet who suggested $1,200 in xrays, blood draws, overnight care, etc despite offering no definitive diagnosis. After questioning the vet, she says "I am not an exotics specialist." I came to Windcrest specifically because they were the only vet who claimed they had a doctor present who specialized in exotic mammals. I walked out after paying 220 for visit, antibiotics, and NO diagnosis. Needless to say, I will not be taking my guinea pig back to such con artists.
