I am shocked to see the positive reviews here. Getting my eye exam & contact lense exam at Laguna Eyes Optometry has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had - and I have been wearing contact for over 12 years and seen several optometrists. \r

It all started from the very first day I made my appointment. I gave the receptionist my insurance information. I wanted to be sure my insurance would cover my eye/contact lense exam. The receptionist assured me she would call me if there was something that my insurance wouldn't cover. She never called me so I figured everything was good to go only to be asked to pay $95 AFTER I got my exam. It was explained to me that an eye exam costs $150 and the contact lense exam is an additional $95. These prices are absolutely OUTRAGEOUS compared to any other optometrist I've been to. They are asking $245 for an eye exam/contact lense exam?? I've never paid over $90-$100. \r
