I saw Dr Sauer at the Joliet clinic. They also have a clinic in Bolingbrook but Joliet was closer to my work. He was very thorough and listened to me. He answered all of my questions and I could tell he actually cared. He did not rush to do surgery at all. That is what I was afraid of before going to see him. I thought if you went to see a surgeon they jumped to do surgery. I was wrong. He tried therapy and anti inflammatory medicines for nearly three months which helped but I still had pain that woke me up at night when I slept on it wrong. I still had pain raking leaves and even wiping down my counter tops at home. When I struggled to life my grandson, that was the last straw. Dr Sauer and I decided the only way for me to get back to normal was to have the surgery to repair my rotator cuff and remove the two bone spurs. He also found quite a bit of arthritis. I had 6 weeks of physical therapy and was given a home exercise program. I am now able to do everything I used to be able to do
