Review content:
We took 3 dogs in to Seven Hills with mixed results. The first thing I found was that the vet that checked out our Chesapeake Bay Retrievers didn't seem to know much about the breed. She seemed most interested in pushing her choice for a brand/type of dog food even though I tried to explain to her that the food we used was one of the most popular brands on the Field Trial circuit. She seemed OK with our older dog. She gave us a referral to a different vet for an eye problem which turned out to be a tumor in her brain. Overall, I think they are probably not a bad clinic but I was turned off by the condescending tone our vet had when I tried to explain why we used the "performance" type of dog food over her recommended "large breed" formula. She also gave me a lecture about not bringing my dogs in enough since they were so old and hadn't been there before. I tried to explain that we had just moved from Oregon to Colorado and that is why we were new patients. She didn't seem to understand.
