I am a cat person, currently have three, and have assumed for the past 20 years that the obvious place to take cats for care is a cats-only facility. The place I have been going to is lovely, they serve coffee, the attached store is fun and the vets/staff are very nice, but I have to admit that the care itself has been very mixed. I finally decided to try another clinic and, on the recommendation of a friend, took my three cats to Dr. Van Vanosdoll at the Alpine Animal Hospital in Issaquah.
Long drive for me, but well worth the trip. In a word, Dr. Van is terrific. I learned more in that one visit about my cats and their various health issues than I have in countless pet exams over the years. He is extraordinarily thorough, caring and took the time to review options and make suggestions for the variety of issues that each one of my cats has.
