Review content:
I have 4 German Shepherds. I took my 2 y/o to Grandview Animal Hosp. because she would not eat or drink. She was vomiting and having diarrhea which was black. All of the others were displaying the same symptoms. Dr Robbins done an initial exam and said her abs were swelling and x-rays would be needed. I returned later that day for x-rays and it did show it to be swollen. He kept telling me she had swallowed something and it was causing a blockage. But that did not account for the other puppies displaying the same problems. Did he actually expect me to believe they all swallowed something at the exact same time? I took her 3 more times and all but begged him to do blood work or a parvo test, to which he basically refused to do. He repeatedly told me it was NOT parvo, so there was no point in testing. But if I wanted to bring another dog in (pay for another office visit, etc) he would test that one. His suggestion was surgery would be the only thing that would save my dogs life.
