Review content:
Dale is old school and honest. He gives excellent value for the money. I brought my Explorer to him after it developed hard shifting (whiplash inducing!) problems. The problem had improved for a few days after having the fluid flushed at a general repair shop, but then returned with a vengeance. He couldn't find any trouble codes, so he suggested changing the *fluid and filter* in case the wrong fluid had been used in the flush. Paid him less for this than just the flush at the other shop. When it didn't fix the problem, he opened up the transmission and cleaned the portion of the internals that can be removed without taking the transmission out of the car. No charge if it didn't fix the problem, which it didn't. He then changed the solenoid body, which was the last thing he could think of without a complete overhaul. That solved the problem--and the only charge was for the parts!!
