My wife and I were shopping for a small tow-able camper and saw a one year old used unit at PECO. We were just looking at that point and continued to look at other dealers. We found another one year old used unit at another dealer, same brand, identical to the unit at PECO, but the dealership was considerably closer to our home. The price quoted for this unit was $2000 more than the unit at PECO but we told them about the PECO unit and price and they reluctantly agreed to match the price. We also haggled about the extras - hitches, sway bar, and wiring for our vehicle. They finally agreed to match the terms offered by PECO. After about three hours of negotiations, the final purchase agreement was prepared and they had added a $605 "Dealer Fee" to the total. I disputed the fee since it had never been mentioned.
