Review content:
The vet Dr. Nair is a gentle soft-spoken vet. The staff are all very friendly and seem to genuinely like the animals. The hospital appears to be rather old and derelict. I had a peak at their facilties behind the employee-only door by chance when picking up my dog, and my first impression was that the place was rather run-down and the equipment did not seem to be up-to-date. The prices Serra charges are average in Sunnyvale, though neutering a dog can cost up to $180, I was told. The hospital holds a low cost shot clinic on Saturdays, and the staff is very helpful when I told them that I only wanted a certain brand of shots for my dog. There is ample parking at the hospital at the rear. PROS: Caring gentle vet, friendly staff, shot clinic CONS: surgery for pets can cost a fortune!
