Dr. Shachar Malka, exotics specialist, is my personal vet for all my rescue/ rehab/personal rabbits (12) and guinea pigs (18) and I feel fortunate to have my animals under his care. I am impressed with his expertise, kindness and compassion. The staff has also been very kind and helpful, both front and back office. My trip for vet care involves 8+ hours round trip from Yosemite to there and back yet I would not consider going anywhere else. I highly recommend VCA/Carmichael to any person seeking the very best and state of the art veterinary care for their animal.
