Review content:
We took our car to Jiffy Lube for its regular oil checkup. Mistake #1: asked an unhelpful flunky there who could only say they didn?t do air conditioning work where we should take the vehicle for work on the air conditioner.\r
The guys at Bill Parks were always courteous.\r
We left the vehicle with them and picked it up a day or two later. Relatively inexpensive repair.\r
A few days later, while we were in the desert, the air conditioner stopped blowing cold air.\r
Took it back and they used dye; discovered a small crack. A hefty but reasonable fee and the air conditioning was fixed. Over the perhaps 4 miles it took to drive it back to the office it had difficulty shifting. Upon arrival, transmission fluid was pouring out of the front end and dribbling all over the pavement. A phone call to them, and they said to bring it back immediately. Barely got it there and parked in an available parking spot.\r
The guys backed it out of the parking spot and could get it to go nowhere else.
