Review content:
Let's face it, the Crabapple Tavern does not purport to be a 5-star restaurant. It's a neighborhood pub with a friendly staff, great food, with a sports bar distinctly separate from the dining area. It's a good place to take your teenager or you co-worker or your spouse on a casual date. \r \r Recommendations: Chicken livers are a tasty surprise for dinner (as are the other blue plates), the Philly cheese steak is the best in the area, the Reuben is great, burgers and wings get good reviews, too. I can't speak first-hand, but the Cuban, fish tacos, and dogs also get good reviews from friends and family.\r \r Trust me, CT does bar food a little bit better and the dinners and blue plates give the menu much more range. Pros: Great staff, more food selection than typical bar fare, separate bar and dining Cons: Dining room can get a bit noisy
