To the previous email - I am very sorry to hear that you have had such a bad experience. Indeed, Dr. Goland's medical office is not a multi-milliner, 5 start hotel, as some of the hospitals and/or clinics are build today. Although the staff and doctors are Eastern European they are not Polish. BUT, let me tell you why I would never ever go anywhere else, but to this doctor. She is the most patient, trust-worthy, caring, knowledgeable, kind, patient-centered, informed, humane doctor I have come across in my 40 + yrs. \r

The clinic is not 25th Century as some other locations have become, therefore, YOU ARE NOT charged for it! When you go for a doctor's visit you can actually focus on your visit and not worry about the hundreds of dollars in bills that are to follow. Dr. Goland gives her cell number to her patients, thus I have called her so many times with different needs. There have been several occasions when I went for a visit and she did not charge me. She knows her patients and she knows them well. She cares about them to the point where she follows up on them. \r

Both of my parents went for years to a very nice looking clinic. The doctor prescribed them anything they asked for. Went to the doctor sick, came out even more so. The doctor was so careless, but the hundreds of dollars in bills were always on time. Finally, I encouraged them to go to Dr. Goland and I am so happy because I know they are in good hands. My mom is still in disbelief with the care she receives from Dr. Goland. \r

Yes, the medical space takes a little bit of getting used to, because it is not set up for the American style of life of spending millions and millions of dollars. However, if you can get over that and if you are concerned about your health and quality of life, there is no other doctor better than Dr. Goland. If your focus is that while you're sick you want to look at a multi-million dollar waterfall, made out of granite, paid by YOU, then Evanston Hospital is the place for you. I only hope you never get sick and you have a long and healthy life. As for me when I see the waist of money, when I have to wait for 2 hours after my appointment to be seen by a doctor, and then I would have to pay for the pretty look, that only aggravates my health, it does not make it better. \r

I could never express enough my gratitude for everything that Dr. Goland has done for me and my family.
