Review content:
I went to Mecklenburg Bridal to look for my wedding dress after hearing they were such a great place. They were not - at least not to me. When I made my appointment, I gave the woman the styles I was most interested in and she said that would be fine. But when I got there, the girl who assisted me only brought me 3 of the 11 styles. I asked to see the others and she said they don't carry them. Why couldn't the woman on the phone have told me that?! And then, the dresses she had me try on were dirty and had rips in them. I have a pretty good imagination, but I couldn't imagine spending hundreds of dollars on any of the dresses I tried on. They have some antiquated rules in place and do not allow photographs to be taken, which I found odd - how can a bride be expected to make a decision about the most important article of clothing she will ever wear without being able to see a picture of herself in the dress? And the staff just seemed uninterested in helping me find a dress, so I will definitely be purchasing my wedding dress elsewhere.
