Review content:
The steaks here are great. The Best. But it takes more than just a good steak to be the best in class. The sides are perfect. We shared two sides between three people, and every bite was a flavor explosion. The wine list was extensive, and also had some familiar offerings. \r \r What takes this place over the top is the ambiance and service. The bar is a gorgeous hand carved dark wood with sculptures and carvings. Everything about the inside and outside is first class, and no expense was spared. \r \r The service was the most attentive and unobtrusive I have ever encountered. I have heard people complain that the waiters hovered over them like servants. Perhaps they would be more comfortable in a drive-thru. During our entire meal there were servants catering to our needs. They didn't chat with us, and we barely noticed them. They seamlessly filled our waters and cleaned our table while we carried on our conversation and had an excellent meal. \r \r Excellent food and service in NYC does not come cheap. Steaks were $35 a la carte when we went. Nothing else has ever come close to the experience.\r Pros: Best Steaks, Best Service Cons: expensive
