Review content:
First of all, let me say that I'm both a consumer and a provider of mental health services in both Kitsap and King county. From my perspective, having a website that reviews mental health services is suspect, given that a percentage of the clientele seen at any mental health clinic will consist of individuals who are emotionally troubled and/or have significant relational issues which they are seeking assistance for (some, not all, mind you). I would advise you to keep this in mind when reading reviews for mental health care practitioners. Your best bet is to ask other professionals in the community I.E. doctors, lawyers, other mental health care providers, and friends/family who have received services as opposed to online review sites. This being said, I spent several years under the care of Dr. P. When I began receiving services. It was also due to his influence that I moved into the field of psychology. I was going through a difficult separation when I first began. His support/guidance and care during this transitional time allowed me to work through this most troubling time in my life without the aid of alcohol (and my other less than ideal ways of coping). I've recommended him to a handful of my friends, and not surprisingly, they had to wait a while to get in for an initial appointment.
