Moved to NJ from Pa in March 07. Chose this firm to prepare my taxes- personal and small business, as they appeared to be well established. Turned over all paperwork, including PA and Phila tax forms, several weeks before tax deadline. Picked up supposedly completed forms in early April and paid sizeable fee ($375)- when I reviewed at home, Pa tax forms were blank as were Phila forms, New Jersey State Income Tax return had me incorrectedly as a full year 2007 NJ resident. I also had a couple other questions. Placed 5 calls to Mr Reynolds and received no call back over a period of several days. With 3 days left before tax deadline, I had to go to H R Block and have them file amended NJ return and complete Pa and Phila tax paperwork. This, of course, at an additional $115 in cost to me.\r
Very unprofessional. I realize that everyone makes mistakes but not returning phone calls is outrageous. The tax preparer at H R Block was extremely knowlegeable and immediatly picked up the flaws in the return.\r
On the website for Pelosi, Reynolds and Capaldi they have a page dedicated to their firm's Profile. It has 3 words in BOLD letters- Professionalism, Responiveness and Quality. They failed miserably on all three.\r
Please think twice before choosing this firm to represent your interests. \r
