Review content:
My experience with Dr. Beers shows that you cannot determine the quality of a doctor until something goes wrong. How s/he responds to complications, especially with LASIK where something as precious as your eyesight is affected, is crucial. Dr. Beers apparently did not have the experience to address my post-LASIK complications. In addition, he brushed off my concerns of having less than stellar results to my ""being a perfectionist"" (???). As a result, I have permanent side effects from my surgery. I saw two renown LASIK doctors in Bay Area after my ordeal and both said that Dr. Beers did not take the proper steps in addressing my complications. They couldn't say whether my complications could have been addressed properly if he had taken the proper steps, but both commented that he was obviously inexperienced. Now there will always be a big ""WHAT IF"" in the back of my head. DO NOT see this doctor if you value your eyesight.
Cons: No experience addressing with post-LASIK complications, inability to give straightforward information
