Took my dog in for dental cleaning. She was given too much anesthesia and she slept for 5 hours after the procedure. They could not wake her, and did not tell me because they ""didn't want to worry"" me. \r
\r
I advised staff next day that her gum had been nicked, and was red and swollen. The vet said not to worry and it would go away on its own. I did not know at the time, that animals should be given a course of antibiotics after a dental cleaning. My dog was not given anything and her gums became infected, and it spread through her mouth. \r
\r
I took her to another, more caring, vet, but by then the infection had caused my dog to lose seven (7) of her teeth. \r
\r
Because of the problems she endured at this place, my sweet little dog does not have all of her teeth, and cannot eat any type of hard food, like kibble. Despite the daily tooth-brushings, all of her teeth are loose in her gums. It would only have cost a few dollars for the antibiotics she needed but was not given. I would have gladly paid the money to ensure her continued good dental health, but now I am left with a dog who is permanently injured...not to mention the hundreds of dollars it took to make her well again.\r
\r
I would never take another animal of mine to this place.
