My experience with Palo Verde Dental (PVD), as a past client, when I started experiencing pain I called PDV on a Thursday afternoon and was scheduled for the next Monday morning. Dr. P began a root canal. Do to time available he could not complete and I was scheduled to return two weeks later. I returned and in the process the file being utilized broke off inside of my tooth, I was then referred to an Endodontised to retrieve the file and complete the root canal at my cost. This is where my opinion of Dr, P and his office changed.
I had already paid PVD over $980.00 and the Endodontist charged an addition $925.00 to complete the root canal and $330.00 to retrieve Dr. P's file. After MUCH deliberation PVD agreed to reimburse me $520.00 and pay for the file retrieval. Sounds great right? The only thing is I agreed to pay $2100. for the root canal and the crown. When this is all over I will now have to pay nearly $2500.00 because Dr.P broke a file in my tooth.
I have experienced additional pain, stress, expense, and now I carry with me part of the metal file still embedded in my root that the endodontist was unable to remove.
To sum it up: Palo Verde Dental and Dr. Portocarrero display lack of care for the patient, responsibility for actions and quality of products used and unprofessional !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
