First of all I would hope all of you who read this, understand that disgruntle patients are often driven to get even, not to get it right. To Dr. Glenn’s defense some complaints are plied on, unjustified issues, that I find are common in private practice. (ie. waiting times, mispronounced or wrong names, billing codes etc.) In a perfect world one may not have to wait, but I’m sure we can agree that we are far from perfect. During my wait times at Dr. Glenn’s office, I paid attention to the professionalism, and courtesy given by the staff, in a very clean, calming atmosphere. This is to be expected, and I was impressed. As I read some of the comments after my 1st visit, it did raise some small concern for my next visit. I read through some of the comments and there seem to be a lack of shared responsibility on the patient’s behalf. If a patient doesn’t understand, they should ask until they do. I didn’t find a lack of communicating with Dr. Glenn at all, a problem. When I explain, what appeared to be conflicting diagnosis, and treatment to my problem, Dr. Glenn would go out of her way in explaining the diagnosis and treatment of the other doctor without putting that doctors findings down or wrong. This in fact added to Dr. Glenn’s integrity, credibility and professionalism. During a visit she would always explain what she was doing, before and during treatment and or procedure. Dr. Glenn would often follow-up with, do you understand, and always made me feel free to ask question along the way. She would always explain the use or the non use of a medicine, along with the side effects, which (in my case) were few and I’m glad that I followed Dr. Glenn’s recommendations. When I had a question she would answer my question without pause, which adds to the level of experience and competence. I believe Dr. Glenn is very considerate in displaying her knowledge in a way that is not condescending and she was very careful to talk to me in a lingo most non-medical people could understand, never talking above my head. If a patient doesn’t specify who they want see when they make their appointment, they may get another doctor of that group, particularly if there is someone else that can get them in and out. (that is not unusual) As far as timely results, skin treatment takes some time to start showing a benefit, before moving on to something else. I’ve seen and experience every one of the concerns that I noted earlier with other doctors in other fields of medicine. I dare take the time to complain about the least little thing. Dr. Glenn loves her work, and she does it in the best interest of her patients. So if you’re not sure of Dr. Glenn, based on these people who want to hide behind these blogs, you should ask Dr. Glenn and give her, her day in court as I did with my concerns. She will explain with what she can under the law and it will all make more sense. Her credentials speak loud, not to mention she came highly recommended by two patients who are dear friends of mine, and a primary care physician. I’m a very satisfied patient, and since my second appointment I’ve referred several patients, all whom are very satisfied of the experience, treatment and the results. By the way I will be going back. Could there be two in the same area? Pros: Very patient conscious, Current in new medical procedures. Cons: Pay parking, wait time
