Review content:
The Health and Wellness Animal Hospital in Hampton Falls NH (formerly the Baker Wells Animal Hospital) provides some of the best pet care in the NH Seacoast. I am not sure what a previous blogger is referring to but we have always been more than satisfied with the compassionate professional care they have given us and the care for pets of many of my clients. For example; last year the staff correctly diagnosed my dog as having Lyme's Disease - a potentially debilitating and possibly fatal disease. After several shots and prescribed medication we went home confident that our dog was well cared for. Later that same night we got a phone call from the veterinarian (not a staffer but the doc himself) as a followup. He stayed with us on the phone for quite a long time asking us questions and making sure that we had a full understanding of our dog's condition. I was truely impressed with his compassion and genuine concern. We made several more trips back to the animal hospital and each the staff members always know our first names and our dog's name and always and remember the Lyme's Disease situation(without looking at charts or appointment logs). \r

They have never tried to sell us ANYTHING ! In fact the doc even gave us a list of reccomended pet foods and of the 7 foods on the list only one was in their own store. We opted to buy a food sold right next door at Agway. \r
\r
Pet care is such a personal thing and YES not everyone will be happy with a service or staff. For us, the Health and Wellness Animal Hospital has more than satisfied our pet care needs. We feel that they are part of our family.\r
Pros: Very personal, compassionate, professional
