As a new patient I wasn't sure what to expect, but the front desk person, Cynthia, made me feel welcomed and was helpful in assisting me in my needs and paperwork. I walked in feeling short of breath and weak. Cynthia called from the front, as she stayed with me, to the back office staff. A male and female nurse came straight to the front with a wheelchair to sit me in and a few gadgets to check my oxygen levels, temp., etc. While doing so, they took me on the wheelchair into the back ""trauma"" room where a Physician Assistant, Katie, and another medical assistant, Velira (I think that's how you spell it) met me. Katie did a very thorough exam while Velira took notes for her. Josh and Nichole (who brought me back) hooked me up to oxygen and read off my vital signs. I was very scared. I didn't know why I was feeling this way. However, Katie and the staff made me feel so at home and eased my anxiety as they calmly worked to figure out the cause of my symptoms. They made me laugh when I was worried. They worked very well together and you could tell they were like family to one another. Each of them had their own job in my urgent situation and they did each of them so well. I ended up being very sick and was sent by ER to the ambulance. However, if I did not receive such amazing initial care and diagnosis then I may not be here today. I am forever grateful to Dr Katie (I know she's a PA, and tho due to her insistence, I refuse to just call her '""Katie"" ) and her obviously well-liked, well-educated staff. I was so happy with my outcome at RMUC in Reunion that I have decided to make the clinic my Primary Care Providers. I am so happy I have that option available to me. An urgent care and family practice all in one - who could ask for more. Thank you, Cynthia, Nichole, Josh, Velira, and Dr Katie (I know she's really a PA, but reacts and treats like a Physician). You saved my life by decreasing the severity of the outcome of my situation. I would HIGHLY recommend Rocky Mountain Urgent Care and Family Practice in Reunion to anyone and everyone.
