Recently I took my mother to Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic because both of her knees were very painful, she has osteoarthritis. After her doctor at Raleigh Orthopedic retired, we choose Dr. Chivetta who had cared for another family member. I was amazed by the care and kindness we recieved. I was given the telephone number of for the triage nurse in the office, told her what kind of pain my mother was experiencing and was told that she could be seen within the next 30 minutes. Not only that, mom was seen by her doctor, and I can say that I know first hand that the PAs at this practice are excellent, and I expected we would see a PA. However, we were seen by mother's doctor! He was able to diagnose her problems as X rays were re-taken and provide cortisone injections himself. While this problem will eventually require knee replacement care I believe that all intention is to treat each patient with respect, timely attention, in so far as is possible, and extremely compassionate and thorough practitioners
Dr. Chivetta is such a practitioner and I am sure the other phycians and PAs are also provide a similar level of care. Two older gentlemen from our former church had (1) a hip replacement and the other (2) a shoulder replacement. I was amazed by the quick recovery of both gentlemen. The staff is kind and compassionate, from the front desk to the nurses, PAs and everyone along the way. I recommend this practice highly!
