Don't sign any papers if you go to Med 7. It isn't good enough to tell the staff that you are uninsured. They don't care if you can't afford ELEVEN lab tests for a stomach ache. And if you ask them what tests they are running and how much they will cost you, no one will know the answer. You will just get a bill 6 weeks later from a different company for $714. As a single mother who does not get child support, this bill now means that my 15 year old will have to go without a lot of things. Thanks Med 7. You did not cure my stomach ache. In fact, it was worse when I left their office than when I arrived. And now that I get to decide which bills not to pay, it is beginning to hurt again. I guess that is job security for them.
