This was my first time using Mr. Rooter of Nassau County. I had contacted another plumber at first. When they came out to the house, they were automatically going to charge an astronomical amount to unclog my bath, so I told them to get out! I went online and found Mr. Rooter and gave them a call. They told me they could be out within a few hours, but actually ended up arriving only an hour later.
I immediately noticed a difference between the two companies. First was the difference in price, at least $200 difference! And then when Mr. Rooter asked to see my pipes. I showed him and he told me that even though my house is older, somewhere along the line, the old pipes had been replaced with newer pipes. It turned out not to be a problem with a clog after all, but with the counter weight instead. He fixed the issue and now it works beautifully! The other plumber wasn't even going to consider an alternative, he just wanted to shove something down the pipe! I was very impressed that Mr. Rooter had a clue about what to do and how to tackle the issue and he figured it out easily.
Overall, it was a great experience and I have found my new plumbers! They are affordable, reasonable, professional, quick to respond, very neat and tackle issues and figure out solutions. I would definitely use them again and recommend them too. I am very pleased with the total experience.
