Review content:
I have been going to this practice since I moved to Nashville in 2005 and before they moved to this current location. I've never had problems until this year. This year I was recently diagnosed with chronic dry eye at my annual appointment. After swapping to another practice, I was told the methods they gave me here to treat the dry eye were actually thwarting my progress/healing. They also hired a new tech that had questionable professional behavior. Until this year, I have always found their techs to be kind and professional. I found her demeanor with patients less than promising with the comments made in front of me during my exams. I found it troubling they allowed her to be one-on-one with patients that early in her training considering her lack of training and professional demeanor. To top things off, they processed my insurance claim for my contact fitting and an order of contacts before we even processed an order for them. I understand this can be standard practice for some eye clinics to file it all at once. However, VSP informed me that I could contact this practice to have them reinstate the amount for the contacts back on to my benefits since the order was never placed for them. When I called to inquire about this, they were defensive but ended up saying they would contact VSP with the credit. Despite VSP saying the credit was issued, my new practice is saying the credit was never reimbursed. I'm not out that benefit until next year. While the price of contacts may be inexpensive for some, my family and I value every dollar we work hard for. I'm ending my relationship with this practice after almost 6 years.
