Although Dr. Kitces appears to be a very nice person, (she practices along with her husband and daughter and other physicians in the Richmond Dermatology practice on Mayland Dr. in Richmond VA) the level of expertise using a laser for skin correction, particularly spider veins, in my experience and $600 later, is not evident. I had three appts for this minor condition with 3 of the physicians, and at the time I made the appointments was assured that the procedure I requested was one that was common for the practice. A telephone call I made to her to complain of my lack of results was not returned. My request for a refund was idenied by the practice manager who stated that they did not guarantee results. Unbelievably poor customer/patient service in my experience. I have worked in the healthcare field for 25 years, and have yet to see such an instance of disdain for a patient.
