Review content:
I was very poorly represented by Tad Nelson and he did not explain things very well. He pushed me to just take a plea bargain for a charge that I should have fought. He told me it was not a big deal, that I could just take deferred adjudication and as soon as I successfully finished my probation it would be dropped off my record like it never happened. So since this was significantly cheaper then going to trial and I took it. I found out afterwards that was a lie and that deferred adjudication does not just drop off your record. When I tried to contact him after I found this out to find out what I needed to do to have my record fixed he would not take my calls or return them. What a waste of $7,500 to have him show up to court 3 times for less then an hour each time, (twice just for rescheduling and the third to sign papers) just to throw me on the 1st plea bargain they offered. I could have done that myself. Basically, he just took the money and ran.
