This Vet clinic is fantastic! While traveling with our labradors, we took them to a park where they could swim in the bay. The exuberant 11 year old cut her paw pad badly. We found this vet from the local visitors center, and just drove over, with no appointment. The folks at Emerald Coast Animal Hospital couldn't have been nicer! We were worried about infection, and they took her in immediately. The vet even offered to remove a large skin tag on the same leg since she was using a local anesthetic, and we gratefully accepted. Dr Tovrea had her stitched up and ready to go in just over an hour. After hearing we were traveling in rainy weather, they even created a boot for her from a saline solution bag, so we could keep her foot dry. We gave her the prescribed antibiotics, and she healed up quickly and we were able to enjoy the rest of our trip! Everyone at this clinic was wonderful, and I'd recommend it to anyone! Truly good Samaritans for travelers in need! Thank you for taking care of our furry four-legged kid!
