My daughter needed fillings when she went in Jan to see the dentist. We scheduled an appt for Feb. When the receptionist called to confirm her appt. she asked me ""We are doing the white fillings, right?"" Well, I thought that sounded like a good idea, afterall her teeth are white. She presented it to me as if I had an option, not that it was an extra charge. When I went to pick her up they said there will be a charge of $225. I was floored. It was never explained to me that white fillings were not covered under insurance. I contacted Christina the office manager and she was extremely rude...called me a liar and said I was calling everyone a liar at that office because she said she explained to me the difference in cost. Obviously not, why would I pay $225 over $0 for white fillings on back teeth? She was extremely rude and kept talking over me; wouldn't listen to me or my wife. What a horrible experience. I was given the consent form after the procedure, that's how I found out there was a charge. None of this info was upfront. If you are currently going to Wigwam dental, run don't walk away from this place.
