Review content:
I started going to Fiddler's Elbow to watch soccer matches, which weren't being shown at home. Now, I frequently find myself going back whether there is a match on or not. It's a lighthearted, casual atmosphere and can vary from packed, with people standing during big games, to plenty of empty seats. There is always a good variety of sport on the big screens around the room, and you can seat yourself strategically to get the best view of your particular game. The staff are young, friendly, and casual, no snobs or attitudes here. There is a good variety of beer on tap, and they make a mean cadillac margarita. The menu consists of basic bar-type fare. I personally recommend the veggie burger, the nachos (which are huge and meant to be shared), or the excellent fish and chips (an amazing value for the price). Overall, Fiddlers is a great option for casual dining, watching the big game, having a few beers, or just hanging out.
Pros: Casual. Inexpensive. Beer.
Cons: Can get very noisy, but hey, it's a sports bar.
