I started the school about three months ago. I cried the first week because it was so terrible. Since then new owners have bought the school, and now, things are looking up! The school has just recently become a Redken premier school, which means we are using quality products, the instructors know what they are doing, and there are many very motivated students who are already very good at what we've been learning. If you are looking to get your cosmetology license this school is a sensible choice. Within about the next six months a lot of things will be updated and running more smoothly. LFBC is looking to make a new positive image, and they are defiantly on their way! Before you make a decision whether LFBC is for you or not, I recommend making an appointment for a service; that way you will really get a feel for what the school and the students are like.
Pros: New ownership, high state board pass rate
Cons: Not visually pleasing (yet!), crowded
