I went to the Chocolate Duck, since I am 30 weeks pregnant & have a toddler and my usual chocolate supply store is much further away. I was also under the impression that it has a good rep. From the moment I walked in, I was disappointed. I don't know if the entire staff was having a bad day, but two staff members did not acknowledge me when I said hello (I got stares, not friendly ones). The person who rang me up barely acknowledged me and was in a hurry to get me out of the way. The selection (especially if you are a pro) is impressive. However, I was not impressed with the quality of the chocolate I bought - it tastes old. I wish I had been able to sample it before I bought a 5lb bag.
I would consider going back to give this place another chance - I hope that next time, staff are more friendly/helpful.
