Bought 4 ""new"" assurance triple tread tires from Staten Island All Tire....what a nightmare...SPENT CLOSE TO $890.00 BEFORE THE $160.00 REBATE....FIRST TIME IN ON A SATURDAY...SAT AND WAITED AN HOUR AND A HALF......drove the car for a week ...felt vibrations in my steering wheel .... went back the following saturday... The long haired ""mechanic"" ...took the car for a test drive....immediately lost his sense of feeling... DIDN'T feel any anything....AMAZING.... i was dumfounded ...went for a test drive with the salesman... ROB .... he also lost his sense of feeling.... LADIES AND GENTLEMEN ....THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN'T FEEL THE VIBRATION IS IF YOU DROVE A FARM TRACTOR FOR A LIVING.... as soon as i touched the steering i could feel the vibration....anyway Mr Rob said that my rims might be bent..but there was another method of balancing the tires and he would have the mechanic try that.It was a more expensive method...i wondered ...after spending damn near $900 for tires ..why i didn't get the better balancing procedure in the first place. Anyway ..... they did what they had to do....spent another week ....same problem....went back the following saturday to spend my customary 2 hrs with them...Rob said they would replace all 4 tires redo the balancing again....While sitting there waiting couldn't help but overhearing the ""hustle"" ...being put on the customers by the ""helpful""... sales crew...eg: a lady had a warranty on her tires.... but she was being asked how many miles are highway and how many are city miles.... I sat there and shook my head. Anyway, SITTING THERE I NOTICED THAT THE SAMPLE ASSURANCE TRIPLE TREAD TIRE that was normally hanging on the wall was missing...I had already did the math and knew that one of his so called ""NEW"" TIRES came off the wall....and was being placed on my car. i finally left......SAME PROBLEM... I purchased 2 new rims... ....SAME PROBLEM...... the only conclusion ...I was sold defective tires ....OR THE TIRES ARE SIMPLY ...NO F.....ING GOOD...I would never ever give them another sale....thanks for nothing rob. Abunch of small time HUSTLERS....
