Review content:
I only visited this vet once, so my opinion is based on a 5 minute phone call and the visit.\r
I was living in Cabot at the time, and my regular vet was closed every Tuesday.\r
I had ran out of heartworm preventatives (Hartguard) and called every vet in Cabot, Jacksonville and Sherwood to find a vet that could sell me a pack of the chews. This is the ONLY vet that would sell them to a dog who wasn't a regular patient. I at first thought that was extremely polite. The girls understood my problem and were more than willing to take my cash (they don't accept debit or credit cards).\r
First, they are handy and nice. Very polite.\r
I later told my vet about it and he was very upset. Not because he lost 5 dollars in profit, but because it was so irresponsible of the office to do. Every vet knows that if a dog has heart worms in advanced stages, the preventative can possibly cause death. It made sense why the other vets all wanted either a copy of my dogs heartworm test (which was at my normal vet) or to give a heartworm test first.\r
My dogs were fine and heartworm free since I use the chews year round, but this vet had no way of knowing that. I suggest you go to a vet where they are more knowledgable than this vet appeared to be.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Parking on gravel lot (bad for car), no Debit or Credit cards, staff displayed lack of basic knowledge
