I have never before gotten excited to go to the dry cleaners. ""Abe"" is charming and funny (too bad for the humorless guy that wrote the bad review), and somehow remembers my name even though I'm in there maybe once every 3 months. The shop itself features a fun collection of antiques, with the window full of vintage wood hangers from laundries around the country long gone. How often are you tempted to buy an 1840's carved swan settee while picking up your shirts? The kind of quirky, friendly, personality filled place that makes portland great! Oh, and they do a great job cleaning clothes too.
Pros: nice experience every time
