Businiess name:  Abe's Broadway Cleaners and Alterations

Review content:
I toook a wedding gown to Abe's to have a stain removed. After they looked at the stain I was told it would be good as new. I called a little while after the scheduled date I was given (they did not call me) and was told it was ready. When I picked it up I asked if the stain had been removed and was told it was. When I got home and looked at it, it was obvious the stain had not been removed. There was a tag attached that said they had inspected it and done all they could without possible damage to the material. I called and explained the situation and was told they thought they could get it out and they were sorry. I then called around for recommendations from bridal stores (I probably should have done this first) and was given the name of Vermont Cleaners from all of them. I took it there and the dress looks like new. They even offered to waive the charge if they could not remove the stain. Abe's did not refund the money. When I called and said I had the stain removed elsewhere he (one of the owners) said he could ""see where I was going with this"" and that he would not refund the money but did offer store credit. He then questioned my line of work to use as reference point for his thinking. Calling out the customer and his/her credentials? Never again. Pros: location Cons: service, bad attitude
