The Service Offered By Tanner Transmissions is absolutely fantastic. Tanner Transmissions had my vehicle towed to their Ogden repair shop no charge after an initial consultation by another transmission shop - I wanted another opinion as I felt my mechanic had not explored all options short of requiring a new transmission. Jed the manager was extremely courteous and professional over the phone and gave me the worst-case scenario how long it would take and just how much it would cost. After speaking with Jed and going out with me on a test drive he explained what he thought might be the problem and that he would need to look at the transmission in greater detail. I was told that he would have to keep my car and that he would call me the next day. Within a day, Jed had discovered the problem was not the clutch plate and transmission but a much less expensive fluid issue. Jed went the extra mile and had my vehicle towed to my location with the offer of dropping off the keys at my work place. All of my calls were answered and I found him to be incredibly personable and fair and Jed said he wished for me to drop by in 2 weeks for a checkup to ensure everything is running smoothly. I am extremely pleased with the work performed and overall experience - I'll definitely be returning should the car require more transmission work in the future.
