Review content:
While JiRaffe's interior is exquisite, that's about all the credit I can give it. The food is good, but not outstanding, and it lacks the uniqueness and vision I expected from such a hyped restaurant. The main dining floor is cramped with far too many chairs and tiny tables. The high ceilings make for an obscenely noisy dining experience, especially if there is a party on the upper floor. I had to literally scream across our cramped table to talk with my dining partner, and even then conversation was all but impossible. Our server basically forgot we were there, never filling our wine and water glasses or clearing our plates. We had to ask another waiter to give us the check. All in all, a pretty interior and good food does not make up for the overall dining experience. I'm sure there are other French restaurants with equally good cuisine, and you won't have to lose your voice during dinner.
Pros: well decorated interior, good food
Cons: poor service, too loud and crowded
