Review content:
Ho-Wah has been around for years, and though inconsistent at times, there are a lot of items on the menu that are always fantastic. Other items, not so much. Yes, the hot and sour soup, which used to be teriffic, has suffered tragically over the last several years which leaves me scratching my head why? But my childhood favorite, shrimp and lobster sauce, uses jumbo shrimp, with slices of pork and scallions in a velvety flavorful egg sauce. Other things to try there are tangerine beef, garlic shrimp and chicken, steak kew and a very good pad thai. Americanized favorites like egg rolls, spare ribs and egg foo young are better than anywhere else. Might not be authentic, but still delicious.
Pros: Best Shrimp and Lobster Sauce
Cons: Hot and Sour soup neither hot nor sour
