Our new SRX was ""tagged"" at a hotel parking lot in Gallup, NM. Black gang symbol on the door and the NM symbol on the hood, we were shocked and upset and managed to drive home OK, worried about getting further tagged. I called GMAC insurance and the next day brought it into Alexander's body shop where I have dealt before. Joe Mendoza and Mary Cortez were also appalled but said that they have experience with the platinum ice coat white. GMAC had already sent the authorization. Mary kept me informed the whole way and when I saw the result and the repair details I know why you don't take it to ""Joes Corner Body Shop"". The effort to restore was thorough and included steps that I would never had guessed in order to get it right. And it is right, so signs of paint splatter or anything. Mary kept her word and we poicked it up on Friday in pristine condition. A fine example of work by two professional organizations, GMAC and Alexander.
