Ok, I'm not much for bars in the first place but this has got to be one of the coolest places in Eugene. From the outside it sort of looks like an airplane hanger or something which just adds to the character of the place. It is a sports bar, but it's not at the same time...I mean usually, there are sports on the TVs (there are like twelve HD Bigscreens plus a HUGE projection screen that is just awesome) but there are other things going on there too, like lottery machines if you like to play your luck. The food is great...the single time I ever had a problem with it, the staff took care of it right away and didn't make me feel like I was an idiot when they did (like some places in this town will). My favorite thing at the Cooler though is not the food, or the drinks, or the beautiful ladies and cool guys that hang out and work there, but it's when they have live music. When there is a band playing the bar uses some sort of fold-down-from-the-wall stage so the band is on this platform like five feet in the air...it's very roadhouse, and very cool!! That's it...I can't stand it anymore, I'm going there right now for a cold one and a bite to eat...see you there!
Pros: You feel like family when you are there.
Cons: Bathrooms aren't big enough (I owe that to the beer though)
